Style Scoop: Isabella Blow on Display, Parsons Cuts Galliano Gig, Swarovski Sparks Up ‘Motown’ Musical

If you know anything about Philip Treacy’s muse, Isabella Blow, then you know the fearless icon had a sense of style that was unmatched. Now, you can get a look at the late maverick’s wardrobe up close and personal. Isabella Blow: Fashion Galore! will open on November 20 at London’s Somerset House, and is set to feature 100 pieces from her closet. [Glam Chic]

It turns out that John Galliano won’t be teaching at Parsons after all. The former Christian Dior creative director was slated to lead a three-day master class for graduating students at the art and design institute, but the Show Me Emotion workshop has been cancelled. “It was a condition of our agreeing to host Mr. Galliano that we also hold a larger forum, which would include a frank discussion of his career,” and email to students read. “Ultimately, an agreement could not be reached with Mr. Galliano regarding the details of that forum, and so the program will not move forward.” [Grazia Daily]
